The journey continues for Kevin Max on his latest solo project out past the comfortable boundaries that once enclosed him and the other two members of 90’s phenom band dc Talk. One has to, at the very least, respect his willingness to blaze a trail informed only by his own influences and creative vision. Nobody will mistake his music for that of Michael W. Smith, Jeremy Camp, Nickelback, or anyone else. The subtitle of his upcoming release – ‘True Rebels’ – can’t be any more dead on that it is.
